This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Cadence collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers two kinds of people: tenants (businesses with a Cadence account) and clients (the people who book through a tenant's booking page). If you're a client of one of our tenants, the business you booked with is generally responsible for how it uses your information — this policy describes how Cadence, as the platform they use, handles it on their behalf.
Account information (tenants). When you create a Cadence account: your name, business name, email address, a securely hashed password, your chosen subdomain, an optional logo, and your timezone.
Calendar and email connections. If you connect Google Calendar or Microsoft 365, we request access to:
We do not read the content, attendees, or details of your other calendar events or emails beyond what's needed to check availability and manage the events Cadence itself creates. We never use this data for advertising, and we never sell it. You can disconnect a calendar or email connection at any time from your dashboard, which revokes our access.
Booking information (clients). When someone books through a tenant's page, we collect what the booking form asks for — typically name, email, and phone, plus anything the tenant has added to their custom form or imported from a roster (for example a group name or internal ID). This information is stored so the tenant can manage the booking and so the client can manage or cancel it themselves later.
Payment information. Cadence does not process or store card numbers. When a booking requires payment, card details are entered directly into a secure form provided by the tenant's connected payment processor (Stripe, Authorize.net, or PayPal) and go straight to that processor. We store only the result — whether the charge succeeded, a transaction reference, and the amount — never the card number itself.
Technical information. Session cookies to keep you signed in and to protect against cross-site request forgery; standard server logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting.
To operate the booking and scheduling service; to send transactional emails (confirmations, reminders, receipts); to keep the platform secure and prevent abuse; and to improve Cadence. We do not use client or tenant data to serve ads, and we do not sell personal information.
We share information with the service providers that make Cadence work, and only as needed for that purpose:
We do not share personal information with data brokers or advertising networks, and we do not sell it.
We keep account and booking data for as long as the relevant account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward in case of disputes or legal requirements, after which it's deleted or anonymized. You can request deletion sooner — see below.
Depending on where you're located, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Tenants can do most of this directly from their dashboard. If you're a client who booked through a tenant's page, the fastest route is usually to contact that business directly, since they control the booking; you can also email us at privacy@cadence.am and we'll help route the request.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information — encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and tokenized payment handling that keeps card numbers off our servers entirely. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Cadence is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, children under 16.
Cadence is operated from Bermuda. Some of the service providers listed above are based in the United States or elsewhere, so information may be processed in those countries as part of how the service works.
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the revised version here with a new "Last updated" date.
